Lucie de Bréchard ( 1995 ) is a designer with a research based practice who focuses on visual identities with a strong typographic core, experimental video works and editorial design. She also draws, writes and performs within crossed-mediums installations.

Her research approaches mainly the impact of structural representations of pleasure and beauty, using auto-theory as a tool for critical thinking. Recently, she has been drawing upon intuitive imagery and the linguistics of joy.

She graduated from the Sandberg Instituut Design Department in 2019. Since then she worked with several international cultural institutions as the Stedelijk, Los Angeles school of Art and Design and Looiergracht 60 in Amsterdam, as well as a junior designer / writer for Metahaven.
